My name is Thomas Hotte; my friend Dan Mitchell and I started this business together a few years back. With both of us being in this town for over 20 years each we already know many of you personally and we meet many new faces daily. We speak almost every day about the economy and the hard times some of our friends and neighbors are having. This is bringing a lot of people to sell jewelry items out of necessity. I know it seems funny (actually annoying) but that is what they all say. We have seen hotels, hardware stores, gun shops and numerous other business jump into this business trying make a quick buck. While we do not bash them for trying to make a living... please understand, they are middlemen. Once they get your items, they sell it to someone else. We buy from many of these companies and people around the state including gold party companies and many, many others. One thing I can tell you from dealing with all of these companies and people is that they do not all pay the same.
Ideally, the more middlemen you can cut out means you keep more money for yourself! It seems basic and easy but we see people getting paid a fraction of what their items are worth by not going directly to a Gold and Coin Buying Company. The difference can be 200% or more! In times like this every dollar counts for families and we know this. We are your neighbors, not some out of town or fly by night company. We really do care and many of you are already our friends.
